“My internship experience with First Citizens Bank has been nothing short of amazing, especially during COVID. I’m a designer and I’ve gained experience that enhanced my educational portfolio, in addition to my personal capabilities. I enjoyed being challenged on multiple levels because I not only came out stronger, I built lasting relationships.”

Person 1: When I started as an intern, I remember the first position. It was a great opportunity for growth, but it didn't align with what I’ve learned in my master's program. They were willing to help me find other teams within the bank that would better suit my skill set.
Person 2: I was selected to participate in a leadership development program that was first initiated here at the bank. I was able to meet with bank executives that had multiple years of experience on the job, that had come from various parts of the bank and out in the field. Getting their perspectives on First Citizens culture, how First Citizens works, and how to make a successful career at First Citizens was invaluable.
Person 3: It makes me feel really good that I’ve been able to accomplish a lot in the first couple years of my career. But I also absolutely can't say that I did that by myself. I had so much support from our leadership, from the bank as a whole, allowing me to be involved in things that a lot of students coming out of college into their first role, they don't have the opportunity to get involved in. But First Citizens has really invested in me and allowed me to grow at a really rapid pace.
