My name is Shinese Bennett. I am a risk analyst here at First Citizens Bank. I chose to work here at First Citizens because it's not a small bank, it's not the largest bank. It's the perfect size bank where I’m able to work closely with those that are the true decision makers here. I enjoy what I’m doing here at First Citizens as a risk analyst, because it incorporates the coding that I learned in my master's program. It is a great opportunity for growth. The culture here is amazing. The people we work with, they are very helpful and patient. Everyone's able to come together with their different personalities and still complete the task at hand. For anyone interested in joining risk analytics, my advice to you would be come in with an open mind and the ability to bring additional ideas to the table. It's nice to see people's true personalities come out in a meeting. It makes you feel more welcomed.
