As a Senior Manager, you will be a member of the bank’s Corporate Project Office. Our Corporate Project Office (CPO) is responsible for the management of all technology projects (business application and infrastructure) for the bank. This role will lead and manage a portion of the bank’s project management organization which is comprised of Program Managers, Project Managers, and project support positions.

Additional responsibilities include:
• Ensuring the bank’s project portfolio is delivered as planned.
• Ensuring that project managers maintain compliance with project management best practices and the bank’s project methodology and project governance process.
• Ensuring that project managers adhere to the bank’s cost accounting practices and financial reporting requirements.
• Participating on project Steering Committees to provide oversight and direction to key strategic initiatives from a Project Office perspective.
• Partnering with IT management and lines of business to deliver on project commitments.

Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 8 years of project management, 6 years of personnel management, and 4 years of business experience, (emphasis in business planning; re-engineering; and process design and organizational design).

Additional Requirements:
• Experience managing within a Project Office organization.
• Certification in Project Management.
• Experience working in the banking and/or financial services industry
• Experience with System Development Life Cycle.
• Expertise in various technology disciplines (application architecture and system design, network engineering, information architecture, information security, etc.).
• Experience establishing, tracking, and reporting on project portfolio metrics
• Experience preparing and presenting presentations to executive management.
