Position Description :

It’s an exciting time to be at First Citizens Bank. We are looking for an Area Executive to lead the branch, business and commercial banking teams within the defined 8 county Catawba Area.
The Area Executive is responsible for meeting financial objectives (growth, profitability), sales goals, mitigating risks and providing outstanding client service.  The area leader is also responsible for effective partnerships with Credit, Wealth Management, Business Services, Branch Operations Support and other corporate divisions.

Team Management:
-Manages a sales & service plan that aligns with the financial expectations of bank and maximizes results by effectively aligning associates and their activities to create value for both the customer and the bank.
-Provides clear expectations, outlines accountabilities and supports ongoing development through coaching as well as ensuring role appropriate learning plans are in place and being acted upon.
-Ensures utilization of the Bank's processes and provides one on one feedback and coaching to support associate development and achievement of results.
-Partners with Human Resources to perform various personnel functions to include staffing and disciplinary action.
-Facilitates regular team meetings that drive team focus on sales & service plans and achievement of results, incorporating recognition, knowledge and skill building activities and best practice sharing.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor degree with a minimum of 10 years commercial or retail banking experience.
-Or-
High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 14 years commercial or retail banking experience.
