Position Description :
The Merchant Sales Support Specialist will support Merchant sales staff by analyzing complex competitors merchant statements and preparing proformas, proposals for customer presentations. Prepare detailed pricing and profitability analysis based on MasterCard, Visa and Discover interchange categories for existing merchants in order to maintain desired level of profitability across the portfolio. Complete pricing analysis upon request of merchants. Serve as a consultant to Sales Specialists regarding pricing. Review daily merchant transactions for potential fraudulent activity.

The role of the Commercial Underwriter II is to provide support to commercial lending teams. The UW will provide expertise in underwriting, structuring, servicing and documenting new and renewal credits. This associate is responsible for identifying, gathering and analyzing relevant information to assess credit risk, establish viability of sources of repayment and determine appropriate loan structures. They will act as lead underwriter in collaboration with bankers in preparing credit approval memos with recommendations consistent with bank policy that illustrate well-reasoned analysis. The Com UW II will perform servicing reviews and support management of the assigned portfolio to identify and minimize risk to the Bank. He/She will provide quality customer service, including participation in joint calls on customers, as needed. Also, they will assist in special projects as assigned.

High school diploma or GED including a minimum of 4 years financial services experience to include a minimum of 2 years sales or customer service experience.
